downloading problems Hi, I've just installed LimeWire. Everything worked well. I can put searches and moments later I get a list of the desired files. The problem is, I can't download anything. It allways says "Requery sent, Waiting xx s for Result". What's wrong in this case? Who can help me. Thanks a lot. Jan |
The unfortunate reality is that Limewire just sucks. I've had the same experience and have spoken to many colleagues experiencing similar results or lack thereof. It's really amazing how poorly Limewire works. I use macs primarily but also have a PC running Kazaa. Kazaa is so much better than Limewire that it truly baffles me. I get excellent results from Kazaa and have gladly paid for their upgrade. The constant requests from my Limewire software to upgrade to "Pro" make me laugh. Can a developer watching these posts shed a little light on this subject?????? |
Hi pokpok, thank you very much for your reply. I didn't know which shareware-software is the best. I've just heard a couple of times of gnutella. I thought it has a big community so you can find also rare files. But maybe I should try Kazaa. Thanks one more Jan |
