Itunes...or Quicktime?

[SIZE=4][FONT=arial][COLOR=deeppink]When I download songs off of Limewire, sometimes they go into my Itunes when I launch them, and sometimes into Quicktime player...this wouldn't be so much of a problem, but I can't burn CDs from Quicktime, they have to be in Itunes...whats up with this?

Just out of curiosity: Why can't you burn CD's from QuickTime files? I use QuickTime as my default player and have had no problem burning CD's. I use Toast as my burning software.

I don't know anything about iTunes. You would have to do a search on these forums regarding that. There have been alot of posts/replies about it.

As for burning CD's from QuickTime: An mp3 is an mp3. Doesn't matter which player plays them on your computer. You need a CD burning software program to burn a CD. They are probably all different, so you would need to read the instructions that come with it.

In my case, I use Roxio's Toast for Mac. I just open Toast, drag the music files that I want on the CD and click Record.

Good luck.
