| I'm a newbie, OSX.1.5, Limewire 2.8, I am trying to be a good user and improve access for others to my files. I questions about the ip address. After I connect (DSL) I open my "internet connect" window. I see 2 ip address. One next to "status:connected too ********" The other below " IP Address :*********" When I open the Limewire Preferences/Advance/firewall I click on the force IP box, but I see 0.0.0.0. in the window. Do I replace this with one of the addresses from above, and if so which? Also do I have to do this every time I log in?? Thanx Steve Last edited by 6_pac; April 2nd, 2009 at 12:56 AM. |

| Thanx for getting back to me..... I seem to be behind a firewall SBC (old Pac BEll)-DSL because when I "Force" the IP address there will be bunches of uploads listed, but when I don't there never seems to be anyone uploading. How do I check to see if I'm behind a firewall???? |
