I just downloaded the latest free version of Limewire for the Mac and I'm having a few problems.
1. The MP3s I download aren't launchable. I have to open the Incomplete folder, select the file and then choose "Quicktime" to listen to it. The previous version of Limewire I had never had this problem. I can live with it but it was so much nicer just to double click on the file and get it to open to preview it, you know? 2. My old Shared file doesn't seem to appear in the new Shared file. I've got 2 sets of everything it seems on my system and I can't figure out which Shared folder to put files in. Plus I now have 2 identical Incomplete folders in my Library because I tried to find out what was where. What's the best way to clean this up? Thanks.

OSX allows you to change the default filetype. In the Finder, select the file, GetInfo; open up the "Open With" option to choose the app.

I use OS 9.something. I'm not sure how to fix it but I guess I can live with it.

I've seen an answer for OS 8-9 somewhere in these forums, but I couldn't find it quickly. I'll try agin later, but isn't there an option in the File Exchange Control Panel?
