Hello!

When you are downlaoding a file for instance a mp3 song and you lost the connection to the host that had it then you should perform a search by using the exact same search string as the file name and if you gets results that matched that particular file then LW will try to connect to these new hosts and if successfull you will continue to download that file from a different host/hosts. LimeWire is a real fully working P2P system. It is the best Gnutella client out there!

I love limewire and don't have any problems with not being able to get songs, and click several different hosts to get a song that I really want. But that could be because I have a fantastic cable model connection. If you do have a regular modem then getting a cable modem would solve most of your problems. If your already at DSL/cable then....buy music!

In my opinion, a high speed connection is very important to downloading music. I would not even bother with mp3 on a 56k connection.

I should have a message two posts up the screen. Actually I take what I said about limewire back. I agree with the thread starter. It is a very...volatile connection with limewire. It can be ok for a day, and the next day its terrible. Maybe not enough people are using it in my area or something like that. I like some of Morpheus, limewire, and Kazaa, but overall I like Kazaa. Sorry to say it, but that media share has not let me down yet...so I stick with it now.

Search for **** ********. At most 200 hosts had it. If you can't download it fully, then get a better connection.
