Sharing mp3s with other users
 

I like Limewire and think its much better than Morpheus, what I used before. I am new to letting others use files from my shared folder. Do I have to have an IP address (00.000.00.000) <--( or whatever you call this) to share files with others users, and is that an extra fee? Call me dumb, but do I necessarily have a (whatever you call this), and how do I get one?

Also, just to convert my CDs to mp3, I would like to know what rippers you all like best. I have the problem of the generic ones not auto-detecting title, artist, album, etc. from the tracks and wonder if there is one that is good and cheap, or better yet, free.

Sorry about all the mini questions, but I need a lot to get started, ya know.

If you are on the internet you have an IP address. If you have files in your Limewire shared directories you will be sharing them. To check go to - tools, options, sharing to see what folders you are sharing. If you aren't sharing the folders you want to be you can add them here.
