I'd like to share my music with others, but when I go to "monitor" there is no upload files in there. So I clicked on "Tools" hoping that I would have an "option" tab, but all I have in there is "Statistics". What's going on? Why don't I have a "shared directory"?

Sharing Options are under the Limewire>Preferences menu in OSX 10.2.4 (just to the right of the Apple Menu)

To see what other people are downloading from you do the following: Under the Monitor tab uncheck the Enable check mark that lets you view incoming searches instead you should do the following: Look after a couple of small blue arrow heads at the bottom left corner in the ribbed area of the incoming searches window and double click the arrow head that points upwards and a new window with all uploads and the ip numbers etc that are in progress will appear instead of the incoming search window. If you want to see all uploads that have been made from your computer even after they have finsished then you have to do the following: Go to: Preferences>Options>Uploads>basic and here deselect the Auto Clear completed Uploads then click Apply button then OK button and then shut down LimeWire and re launch it for the change to take effect and voila you can now see all uploads that have been made from your computer.

If your issue is not the same as I described in my post above then it might be XP's built in FireWall that is causing you these problems. The solution to that is found in this article: http://www.annoyances.org/exec/show/article04-109 Hope It Helps!
