I've used many versions of limewire susccesfully. When I downloded the pro version 2.97 all of a sudden I keep getting this "can't download, awaiting sources". I CAN'T DOWNLOAD A THING. NOTHING. ZERO. DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY ANSWERS??

Since I am new, I did not realize that there were other folks who had the same problem. As I have had some time to look through, I realize I am not alone. However, I still have a problem with no real solution. Are there other programs that accomplish the same as Limewire. Instead of ripping me, could you try to help?
