Downlded songs DONT APPEAR IN MY LIBRARY!!
 

My LW used to work normal, But recently all the files i download dont go into my library but instead they go to my Incomplete folder. The completed files (that show up in Incomplete folder) arent completely downloaded. THIS IS GIVING ME A HEADACHE! If anyone has any suggestions id appreciate it

What client are you using? Were the files that were going into the incomplete folder really incomplete?

zeroshadow, he uses LimeWire. And he also says that they aren't completed. And yes, I have the <u>exact</u> same problem, except the files are completed. It started quite recently. I suspect it's probably some sort of glitch/bug, as we both have the same problem. It will probably be fixed in v1.4c (Last time I checked they were gonna do 1.4c before 1.5 was released, but I'm not sure.)

Completed Songs can't be found in the library or in the incomplete folder!!!!!

So I am downloading songs and it says that they are completed but when i go to play them from the library they aren't there. They play from the search page (where the songs are listed that are being downloaded if i click on it they will play the whole thing) but when i go to the library to find them they aren't there. They aren't in myincomplete folder either! Please n e one help me!!! I was downloading fine until my sis tried to download **** and it wouldn't work! i have ten song in my library and no more wil go in!!!!

Try searching for the file using Windows search. It could be placed somehow in some odd directory.

Incomplete Downloads
 

I've noticed that those downloads that appear in the Incomplete folder (which showed as being 100% complete during the download) are actually being saved in the Shared folder as a "Limewire document" instead of as an "mp3" file or "gif", etc. If you navigate from your desktop to your Shared folder and then open it up you will see any file you downloaded, but the "kind" or "type" of file will appear as a Limewire document. What makes it save in this format is beyond me. I have sent emails to Limewire support looking for an answer, but I guess they're too inundated with request to respond presonnally.... Hope someone has an answer since I can't download anything either that I can play....

I am having the same problem. Nothing is being downloaded to my Library

In terms of files being saved as "LimeWire documents," we are looking into this issue ourselves.

We're feeling the brunt of being a cross-platform program right now, so we're a little bit overwhelmed with putting the various fires out on the 10 or so platforms that LimeWire is now used on.

So, I'm sorry to say simply that we'll get to it as soon as we can, but right we're just about as bewildered by the LimeWire document problem on the Mac as you are!

In terms of files appearing in the library in general, make sure the directory is shared, and make sure that the file extensions of the files in that directory are also shared. The library only shows shared files, so that directory you want to see must be shared, and the file extension you want to see must be shared.

You can view all of this in the Tools>>Options menu under the "Sharing" tab.
