Skipping while playing MP3s

Can anyone give an easy fix to the "skipping" problem when playing back mp3s? Does this same problem occur w/ other platform, like kazaa or napster?...

I've heard this can be caused by running an external mp3 player while LW is running, so just don't play recently dled music from your external mp3 player while LW is running.
