My downloads won't resume I've come back to Limewire after months of frustration with Acquisition and I could have sworn that the program used to remember what downloads where in progress or waiting and resume then when able? On quit my copy simply loses all my current downloads - the incomplete files are still there in the Incomplete folder but nada in the program. I am using OS X 10.2.6 (all updates applied) and version 3.2.0 of Limewire over 512k adsl |
Hmm. You're right--incompletes >0k should resume on startup. There was a problem for a while, especially after a crash, but should be fixed now. Does Acq still set the incomplete folder inside the shared folder? Perhaps your old Acq prefs/folders and new LimeWire prefs/folders are a problem. If you can afford a clean install, might be worthwhile to do a finder search for the Acq and LW folders (including any "incomplete" folders) and start fresh. btw--check out Jens-Uwe's cvs build of LW http://baghira.han.de/~jum/LimeWire.html cheers |
Update to the latest stable release (3.2.3) or the latest beta release (3.3). There was a small problem with earlier 3.2 versions that could cause saved downloads to be forgotten. |
