it wont play movies any suggestions?

Limewire does not have a built in video player.

Could you be more specific in your description of your problem? And what are your specs?

I downloaded a .mpg file. well on the older version of limewire, it would play in my quicktime player, but i updated and now it wont

Go to quicktime and go to is preferencfes and set it as the default mpg player.
