dl'ed programs start limewire?
 

I know you are all horribly annoyed by peeps postin the same questions over and over ....but i really cant find my problem anywhere so i give it a shot.

Im on a G3 powermac 9.2.2 and almost EVERY single time when i download a program and try to unstuff/launch it it simply launches LimeWire. No sign of the program its supposed to be, just a LimeWire starting up.
Does anyone plz know what causes this? Is it a corruption prob?


And then i also have a second prob..every time i get queued up in a line i nicely wait for my download to start. But as soon as its my turn it first attempts to connect and then i get flinged back last in line..to wait again...i have a download waitin at 95% like this for several weeks now.
Anythin to cure that prob?

It may be that you have not yet "killed" or cleared the download from the dl screen so LW is laucnhing into that when you attempt to launch/unstuff a file. Worst case scenario, for the unstuffing, just drag the file onto stuffit expander.

For the launching bit, make sure the program (which I assume you dled legally) is for mas os 9.2.2 and cleared. Try launching it again.

...still no luck tho... Im usin the right OS for the right program...downloads are killed for sure...and when i try to unstuff it (with Stuffit Expander) nothing happens.
Id think the file is corrupt but it does it with ALL my files....
*sigh* think ill give hotline a try...

Update to the latest version of Limewire.
