When the awaiting sources messages comes up, that means that Limewire cannot find anyone with that file to dl from.
What you can do is search using the same or different search terms to search for that file. Limewire will automatically download the file from a source found in the new search if it a new source is found with the file that has the awaiting sources message.
Also, when looking for extremely rare files (and I mean rare), one might want to try searching at different times of the day. For instance, if I live in California, searching at midnight isn't the best idea, as people on the East Coast will most likely not be running Limewire at 3 AM unless they keep it on all night.
However, if I search at 6 PM and do not find my file, perhaps searching in the morning, when it may be the evening in Western Europe, might yield the file.
Also, knowing about your file can help. I once tried downloading music by an obscure Argentinean artist and got no results. After a little thinking, I realized I should search during Argentina's evening, instead of what I was doing. This yielded results that I could download from. |
