Lightbulb Waiting Xs for 1 reply?

I understand what LimeWire means when it says it waiting for 1 busy, but what is 1 reply and 2 busy? I'm getting these. It'll say something like:

Waiting 25s for 1 reply, 2 busy

What does this mean?

Thanks!

This means that you have grouped files d/l'ing. Limewire groups similar files together and downloads the file it believes will arrive the fastest.

Now with this grouping in mind. When you click on a "group" of files essentially what you have done it attempted to download "any" of those files, you don't care which one cause you only want 1 file. So limewire attempts connections with all of those people (lets assume 5 people have the file). So it sends requests to each of those 5 IP's. Now if the IP has no available d/l slots it returns a "busy" response. If it is behind a firewall it sends a "push" request and waits for the other computer to start the transfer. So lets say that you sent 3 push requests and the other 2 computers are 'busy' then you will get a status line that says.. "Waiting x's for 2 busy and 3 replies" The "x" will count down and when it hits zero it will retry to see if the busy connections are free, and it will also send another push request to the firewalled computers.

If this happens to you don't worry... just leave limewire running... you will "eventually" get the file (there are certain situations where it doesn't work)

Such situations are 1) you never can get in to a busy server. Limewire only sends requests once per "x" # of seconds. It's not a continuous thing. So it is possible for the someone else to 'sneak' in ahead of you. 2) if all you get are waiting on replies... depending on the firewall situation you are in these may or may not work.

Hope this makes sense...
