searching returns NO files...HELP please
 

i just downloaded limewire onto my new computer <i had it on my old one and it worked just fine> and everytime i enter something to search for it returns no results. i have been searching for ******, and yes it did occur to me that no one would have them so i tried to see if it pulled anything up for ***** and nothing! i have read the FAQ on downlaoding/uploading, adn on connecting andi cannot figure out what is wrong. if someone can help me i would appreciate that. thank you

I have to ask...are you connected? Both to the internet and Limewire?

yes, i am connected to both. i am still not getting any search results today.

Go to your Connections tab, do you see yourself connected to some ultrapeers?

the exact same thing is happening to me. Very frustrating; it used to work just fine, then I had to reinstall, and no search results appear (even though the tab at the top, where the seach name is show, shows many results)

Do you see any columns such as 'Quality', '#', 'Name', 'Type', etc.. that if you right-click will bring up a popup-menu listing other column names?
