Need help with LimeWine and aol

Can someone PLEASE help me! I have LimeWire dowloanded. It showed up on my desktop/ I have a mac, ibook. When I go to download my server (aol) goes away, then sometime I (once) can download a song. It took 1 & 1/2 hrs. to download. When I tried another, my server goes off, because I'm not using it, but if I go into it, then limewire goesaway. HELP! Can someone sent me instructions, step by step. mail to
