I am getting the same problem lately. Every file I download, has not problem downloading, but ends up a dud, and can't be opened by any means. They are all unknown file format labeled "Limewire Document" or just "document" in my shared file. I used to be able to use an Ituner application to convert them to mp3's. On the rare occasion when a file does open, it just takes me back to the Limewire Search Screen and nothing happens. I want to upgrade to LimeWire Pro, but don't want to waste my money if downloaded files cannot be opened. I am using Mac OS 9.2 and Mac OS 10.2.
