mac osx--why can't i dl newest version????

Every time I try to download the latest version, I get a text file (.dmg). Why won't the installer download correctly??? I am using the latest mac osx version.

i have the same problem, im on osx 10.1.5 and i cannot download the english osx latest version

Use Safari instead of Internet Explorer, or if you use Internet Explorer right-click on the download and choose 'Save to Disk'.

Internet Explorer does not handle DMG files correctly.
