Question opening a downloaded file

I have had luck in sharing but most of the files that I try to open just open my limewire window. Is there any way to open these files? They are limewire vendor/version files I think. Please help me if you can because I have been trashing these files even though some have taken about an hour to download.

Thanks!!

MacMac

try dragging them onto the application you think should be able to open them.

If that doesn't work, post back with more details (like OS version).

Well that's my problem. When I Try to open a .zip , .sit ,.ect ,they don't unstuff or unzip, they go to the limewire window. Do you have that problem?

Thanks!

Locate StuffIt Expander on your Hard Disk and open it. Select Open from the File menu and select the .sit, .zip... files. Drag & Drop onto StuffIt Expander should also work...
