Where has did it go?
Can someone with expertise tell me where my downlaoded songs have gone and if i can copy them to a separate media player? Please, your help is much obliged.

Depending on your OS they should go to C:/program files/limewire/shared. You can copy them to WinMedia Player by clicking add at the top of the window. You can play them with WinMedia by going to options/player and uncheck the box. I hope this helps.
