LW PRO download issues
 

Hi,
you read all over the froum people defending or attacking LW, like it was a fideistic issue. Almost everybody misses the point: when you PAY for the program, you DEMAND that it works, and hopefullt better than the free version. I can't care less about all the bs like which program is better, under which circumstances etc (btw, does any of the supposed "expert" post ever the "real world" configurations, instead of talking gibberish?).
It takes a lifetime to download anything! Always waiting for new sources. Bottom line: it does not fulfill the goal, which is share files. If it's free, you have to accept it, of course.
But WHEN YOU PAY, YOU DEMAND DELIVERY !!!!!

To the "experts" who still defend LW: pay me back my money, or make it work, you morons!

Ever bought a MS Windows license? - But really, LimeWire works - it's not perfect and has a number of glitches but it works. The PRO version also works a little better than the free version even if the difference is not worth $20 IMO.

In spite of what you might have heard, LimeWire is not offering any files on the Gnutella network. You try downloading a file from another user. If that user disconnects and your download is stuck it's bad luck. If you don't find that file again because that user is busy all the time and doesn't return any search results it's bad luck, too. If your computer crashes or you quit LimeWire forcefully and LimeWire looses all downloads, it's bad luck, too. If your download connection fails and you have to work your way through a queue all over again, it's bad luck.
If you pay for a PRO version of a software if the free version doesn't work, it's stupid. Well, at least you learned something from it.
