I've recently re-installed XP and now have LW 3.9.4 running in J2 1.5.0. At least I think its the new java since the LW layout's a bit different than it was in J2 1.4.2. Problem is, I'm having connection problems again. I've given the active java app full permissions in ZoneAlarm, checked the router's port forwarding, and pressed the apply button there again just to be sure they're still in place. I've got the force IP box checked in LW options, and I still come up with Received incoming this session=false. What else could it be?

btw- Haven't yet compared Kazaa Lite- will soon enough.

Changed Listening port
 

Somehow the listening port was set to 6348- I just changed it to 6346 & got the true incoming- Why would LW have that set as default? I'm gonna go look now at the link earlier in the thread and go see what 6348 is.

Salut Ellis, LW changes the default to 6347 or 6348 when port 6346 is blocked or already in use by another app (were you using two gnet apps at the same time or simply two instances of LW at the same time?).

I don't use another gnutella app, so I must've had another instance open. I remember at some point I'd had two LW icons in the system tray, after I'd checked the start w/ windows box AND put a shortcut into the Startup folder. That's what had done it.
With this known, I'm gonna go post in the feature request forum to do something w/ that to make it a temporary change.
