![]() Thank you Stief for your answer. You were right, it was downloading but VERY slowly. I went to statistics as you suggested and I found out I was d/l at 0,064 KB\s!!! therefore showing 0KB/s. I had a look at the thread above mine and I don't think it applies to me, but I could be mistaken as I'm very new at this sort of thing. Reading other threads related to speed I realize that it could be that I have a problem with the default port. I can't give you details about my intertnet connection because it is a mystery for me. What I know: I use an Ethernet card to connect (LAN) the signal goes to the server, from there goes to a router (I can't find details about that one either), and from there to the ISP. My question is, Is there a way to find out is the router has forwarded a port, and which one is being forwarded? My feeling is that the bottleneck might be at the ISP's end or at the router. Do I make sense here? As I said, I am very new at 2p2 .... Thank you sebastian pons |
