![]() I have had no problems with lime wire for the last few months but this last week has been a different story. Everytime I download a video file with a high number I can only download 20,508 kb of the file then it quits. I have tried 20 different movies and the same happens 20,508kb and I cant resume or connect. I wrote to lime wire and they told me nothing and to study up on p2p and Gnutella LOL!!!! Thanks for the advice(LOL) I'll be downloading "********" 660 Mb file and I'll be doing maybe 110 kb/s with 9 connections then when the file reaches 20,508 kb it quits and never to reconnect. But remember this happens with every file. I asked limewire, they didn't know. So now I'm asking you, whoever you maybe for your help. Thanks Jeffery C. ![]() It's very strange..., I don't find anything on LimeWire's side that would indicate a 20,508KB limit. There is a remote possibility of your provider being responsible because he doesn't allow any HTTP downloads requesting ranges beyond that kind of limit, however I have not yet heard of a provider doing that kind of thing. We should watch that problem... possibly we may have to add some level of encryption to prevent your provider from doing that kind of thing if it really is your provider. |

![]() This seems to be a requring problem. Maybe not a major problem, but its happening to others just not me. How do i turn off my firewall? Firewall has never been an issue, only this last month. If anyone has more insight and has had this problem before and fixed it. Who ever has had this problem, we need to find something common that is causing this error in our downloading. I was thinking it was the Windows xp auto updates, could that be a possibility? Thanks Jeffery C. |
