Default need help

am a new member and appreciate the services provided with the exception of a few ticks. on a recent transaction i received a virus, not a big deal to me but it might be to others. anyhow is there a way to know who your downloading from so you can let him/her know that he is infected or infecting others or is it at your risk. one other question can anyone give pointers on increasing download speeds, i run DSL but download like i'm a 56K user.

thanx, howie88

Right click on the download or upload and select chat with host than you can tell him whatever you want as long as he did not block all incoming messages for the slow downloading I think we all have to go thrue it but when you search at the top there is an icon called speed and with that you can see the connection of the host if it's cable/dsl, T1 T2 T3 or T4 it should be good

There's no point answwering a question 3 years old. That's a bit ridiculous. In most cases, these people have sorted their problems or might not even use LW anymore or changed their contact addresses. Probabl best to offer help only where it's required or still wanted.
