I've been using Limewire for awhile now, but for some reason whenever I try to DL something, it goes autamatically to queued, and yet my brother can get on under his username and it works fine, any suggestions as to how to fix?

Get on under you brother's username. Or change your username. No seriously, I suspect it's probably more related to the method your brother uses & the files he chooses. Try to choose files that are multi-star quality to dwnld. Also the more files there are in a group the better chance you'll have of finding one/more that's available to connect to. If there's more than one source to choose to dwnld from, choose that one (also/cancel the other.) Every now & again (not too frequently), do another search for that item so more sources might be found (keep in mind people are logging on & off the network all the time.) You can also try cancelling the cued file & reselecting it to dwnld it again. Hope that's of help. Meanwhile beat your brother with a feather duster for being such a smarty.

Thanks, but he does'nt havnt a method of doing it. He's only 10, and I think our settings are the same. I've tried to download aboutg 15 different things and they are all queued right from the get-go, but thanks anyways.

At least take a look at my suggestions more closely. If you're having trouble connecting with your source, then keep attacking it so to speak, particularly if there's more than one then eventually you'll find a vacant source! As I said, occasionally doing a renewed search will help you to connect. Ok for some days/times of day some sources are difficult. You might need to be patient or try at a different time of day or day of week.
