quick question, please help me
 

hi am sorry if we aren't supposed to start new threads, i have never been on here so i don't know. but i was just wondering when i dowlnoad a song i dont know how to get it into my itunes, could someoneplease explaon how i move it? i am using a mc by the way

It would make a big diff if you told us which mac os you're using (it makes a diff). In OSX, go to LW's menu Prefs & iTunes & tick the iTunes support option box & press the Apply button. From then on iTunes will make its own copy of each song to its own library.

thank you... unfortuneatly it is doing it very selectively and only a couple of my songs went into itunes and the rest are just on that downloaded list.. at the bottom of the lime wire page thing. and yes it is mac os x

Strangely I've occasionally noticed the same thing. I wondered whether I was too quick to delete the item from the dwnld list. Once I noticed it, I tried to be sure I switched over to iT so I sould be sure it copied over (see the grey coloured thermometer type thingy.) If it's a long tune it'll take longer before iTunes starts up & longer for it to copy it. (As a side note, iTunes does not recognise 'all' formats of mp3. Vorbis Orb is one such one it doesn't which is why I also use Audion to play/convert those files. It also recognises the new mp3 pro format: http://www.panic.com/audion/)
