Can't DL... "Need More Sources & Queued !!!"

Oh, I'm using Limewire Basic (not pro), does this make any difference

When dlding from P2P (any P2P), there is only one truth: Patience is a virtue.

Aside from that, knowing that Queued and Waiting for Busy hosts are "good" statuses because it means that you should start dlding "any time now". Need more sources means that the user has gone offline and that you need to find other users by running another search.
And being on Basic or Pro doesn't change much here, aside from the fact that Pro will give you better results, thus, maybe getting you more or better connections to hosts.

And about that movie you wanted to dld, just go and rent it.

The file in question has been dld for three days non stop, thats approx 72hrs online, & it's only progressed to a measly 2%, and now it says "Awaiting sources".

Is that common?

& by the way That film is not out yet, and the whole point of Limewire is so you dont have to pay !!!

Awaiting sources is a status that means that basically LW has sort of "given up" on your dld. That means that, in order for the dld to start dlding again, you need to run a search for the file again to see if LW can pick up any new sources. If it won't, then try another file, one with more sources.
Also, patience is a virtue. I still remember when all we had was a friend's comp with a 128Kbps connection. Talk about slow. It took a whole week to dld a 700Meg file if the hosts were on all the time (which was never)
