![]() I've read the other posts, however if the music you selected is not availabe (need more sources) how come it shows up on the query. Secondly, what is the best time to download? I download 99% Christian music does anyone get complete albums? Thanks for your time. |

![]() Thanks murasame for responding... I used query which is the same as search. If I search I assume that it finds what I specified from what is available, so with this thinking how can it "need more sources" if it has found users that have the file? I can't believe that I am the only person that breaks down groups with complete albums! I do use discographies to search for albums, due to the fact that users rip with different tagging schemes and its hard to tell where the song came from! By your comment about albums, is it legal since I payed for two years of service to download complete albums? Thanks for your time |

![]() You "paid for two years of service"? Read some of this. I think that it might interest you very very much. Now, after you've read the link that I provided above and have taken appropriate measures, let's get back to "Need more sources": when click the button for LW to search the Gnutella Net for files matching the criteria you have set (keywords, file types, etc etc...), LW performs that search and returns results as it encounters them. It doesn't go back on a result. This means that if you look for "Title" and LW finds only one file then it will show that result, but it won't delete the result if the user hosting the file disconnects. That's where "Need more sources" comes in: if you type in "Title" and LW returns 400 results, there's no saying what the users hosting the files will do while you wait for the search to finish. If the users of a file that you want to dld have disconnnected for whatever reason before you click the result for dld, then LW will try to connect to them, fail and show the "Need more sources" status. It will not try to find new sources by itself. You have to do the job. In other words, Limewire will find users that have a certain file, but will "Need more sources" if those users go offline or can't connect to you. Quote:
As for legitimacy issues, go to the top of this page and click the search button. Run a search in the LW forums for the word "Legal". There are many results.
