Please Help Me!!!!!!!!!

My downloads are very slow. I am only able to reach a max speed of 2kbs most of the time it is 0kbs. It used to be fast. Could it be something that I did and if it is can you help. Could it be a firewall and if it is can you tell me how to fix it. ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

THANK YOU

I have heard that a firewall in come cases can slow down p2p use, in almost all cases a firewall would totally block access for p2p if it were not configures to allow it access. It sounds like you need to configure LW properly: see the following links for suggestions & hints: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...5&pagenumber=1

It depends where you killed it from! If you deleted it from the dwnld window, no sweat! Just re-search for the item & re-select it to dwnld again & it will continue where it left off (make sure it's the identical one with the same full size.)
If you deleted from the dwnld window, I don't recommend forcing it to recontinue from the incomplete folder! Sometimes the files forget their dwnld history!
If you deleted it from the incomplete folder in the LW Library window, then there's little you could do except immediately use a deleted file retriever utility.

I went to re-download the files and it started to download them back at 0% when i had most at 80% and it took a lond time how do i get limewire to remember the incomplete files.

P.s thanks for responding right away!

Follow the instructions. Don't force resume from the Library window unless it's a last resort. Instead search & dwnld them from the search window.
