| Just recently I've been getting this message when I try to play some video files: "Couldn't open the file ***** because a software component needed by the movie couldn't be found." When I use FileTyper or MacLink Plus to determine the format of the video, I find out it's a QuickTime file. Since I have the most recent version of QuickTime plus all the Indeo codecs, I have no idea what, if anything, I can do to play the movies. Am I really missing some software or are these videos corrupted in some way ? BTW-- I'm using OS 9.2.2 on a G4, if that's any help |
