Help! No more downloads...

AGH! Ok I've been using limewire for a long time now... and recently I haven't been able to download ANY music files anymore. I click on a song to download and it says "connecting" for a looonnng time, then it says "Need More Sources" or "awaiting..." Should I get a new music program? I really hope not because Limewire has been just awesome for me for so long. Oh and I read about the T3 problem... but even when i'm downloading Cable or Modem... it still doesn't download. HELP!!! I'm nothing without my music.

Try deleting your LW preferences. They're found in Documents and Settings & the LW prefs folder name is .limewire Or for mac just go to Prefs folder & show is list mode & at the top is .limewire file.

i went to documents and settings... and has 5 different folders. I clicked on all users... and it has like 7 folders named application data, desktop, favourites, send to, shared documents, start menu and templates. I'm not sure where to click from here because all the limewire files I find is the actual program. What are the preferences? Sorry to be a bother.

K i deleted that .limewire folder... and it still doesn't download. none of them do. it just says "Need More Sources." Now when I search for artists (their names only) I dont get very many songs coming up like i did before..


edit: Nevermind. Got it to work! I just installed the newest version of Limewire and it works perfectly. Thanks for the help!
