within FILE I pressed stop sharing by mistake and clicked ok when the pop up asked my if I was sure cause I always do that when I double download and was distracted at the time...now my entire formally shared file has disappeared and I can't find it anywhere!!!! Please help! I had so many songs it would take forever to redownload them all!!!

Try doing a windows search for a song title that you had in your folder or for the folder's name itself (usually My Shared Folder) If you are running windows XP you can also run a search to look for files of a certain type, like all mp3 files. Unless they are gone for good they should come up this way. My advice is to make yourself a shortcut to this floder on your desktop so that you won't lose track of it.
