Default No uploads when connected through router

I'm a new user and noticed that after I installed a wireless router and connected using a laptop adaptor uploads stopped. I opened port 6346 and forced the IP. I even disabled all firewall software for a short time but nothing helped. I've gone back to my standard ADSL modem and uploads are fine. The router was a BT Voyager 2000 and the adapter is Bt Voyager 1020. Does anyone have any ideas what is stopping upload traffic?

I looked at the bug fix report - while I was on the router there was no upload = true or upload = false.

I have to say I was a bit confused. It took a while to find anything. I've found instructions to the Voyager BT 205 & BT 2000 (but it's not called Voyager) & a review which discusses your setup. About 2/3 way down that review article it discusses 'Configuration of Port Forwarding' & 3/4 down the page 'Universal Plug and Play (UPnP)' see here: http://www.adslguide.org.uk/hardware...q3/bt-2000.asp This article also discusses how to allow access thru the Firewall for apps. So you'd need to apply the same principle.

As I said the only one with the name Voyager was this one: Voyager BT 205 instructions But this is not your model. I'm guessing that the softw on the review article is an updated version of the one below. So, take the instructions here: Binatone ADSL 2000 port forward instructions

I hope this is ok for you. Sorry I was not as direct with my instructions.

Hey, don't apologise :-) You've given me so much more help than BT. This should hopefully get me back to wirelesss sharing. Can't thank you enough.
