Dowloading a CD

I'm new to Live Wire and was wondering how I go about downloading an entire CD at one time. I pulled a couple different ones up and not all the songs are listed for a specified CD.

You have a choice. You can dwnld an entire album as a single mp3 file. Problem with that is that you can't jump easily between songs. You also don't get the individual song names. And to burn it as a single song could be a pain unless you use 3rd party apps for the purpose.
You can search using the audio search & select the album & artist only for your search. You can also do a general search using artist - album name.

You can also add at the end of your search words like: whole, complete, entire, albumwrap (google albumwrap to get an app that can separate the songs.)

Another trick & once you found in your results some songs of the album you want, try browsing &/or direct connecting with them.

By the way it's called Limewire not Live Wire. If this is what you have then you may have got yourself a fake or variation of LW that is not genuine!

Burning Albums

Typo with the LIVE - sorry. I want to know how to find ALL the songs for a certain CD. The one CD that I did a search for by artist and album, came up with only four songs on that CD. Where do I find the other songs?

Go to cdnow.com and type in the album name. They will give you a list of each track on the CD. Download them individually and then burn a CD with them in the correct order.

*And, what might that "important step" be ???

I suppose there's also the Albumwrap discussed here Some people hate the concept but it does have its advantages such as entire albums & all at same bit-rate & quality. You can get AlbumWrap here But have a look at some complaints 1st found here You lose the song titles for a start. And whilst the Extractor is FREE, the Wrapper is shareware.
