Can't download Half the time I try to download a song the list of available searches pops up but will not allow me to go forward with the download. I'm running 10.3.5 and am using a router. I do not have any firewalls that I know of and am connected through Sympatico High speed cable modem. Is there a solution? |
Glad to see you haven't updated to OS 10.3.6 (it has some bugs.) You mean you select a file/song in the search results, press the Download button but nothing happens? Does any error message come up? Go to LW's Preferences>Downloads & see how many you have selected for Maximum Dwnlds. Do you have at least one? You should have more than one selected. What type of modem do you have? Can you do this test (after LW has been open for at least 20-30 mins: Bug Report instructions & sample image Is your result True/False? |
sometimes it works Hi LOTR Thanks for your response. I checked it again and it worked this time and in the bug report it said true. The download is set at 8 so that shouldn't be an issue. ??? |
modem Sorry the moden is a speedstream 5200 |
If the bug report said true then that's good news. I thought you might need to forward a port but not necessary after all it seems. Particularly in OS9 & especially if you have many incomplete files, LW takes some time to settle down. Even over half an hour sometimes. |
