whenever i preview a downloading or downloade film which is file type avi, i get a notice saying wMP cant play the file. one or more codecs required to play the file could not be found. how can i sort this problem out. thanx in adbvane

Usually it will ask if you want to download the correct codec. Is your WMP connected to the internet? Make sure it is.

Also, you can do a search on the web for available codecs for WMP. Mabey even go to the website and get some.

Do you have the latest WMP...v9??

if your conected to the internet then surly wmp is automaticly connected to the internet?
