Question Downloads have skips in them

I admit, i am new to Limewire and heaven help me to go through all these threads .......... perhaps someone could just be so kind to answer my question and then I can learn more from all of your questions. My problem is this....... EVERY song i download has a skip in it, like an old record on a record player....... does anyone else have this or am i just the lucky one?? Thank you in advance

That's probably b/c your LW is extremely busy & using most of its resources for other things. Instead, disable your LW media player. Go to Tools>Options>Player & untick to disable LW's player. Now your default mp3 player will play instead. If you don't have a decent one try this one it has built in codecs & is free: http://www.quinnware.com/ (QCD)

Thanks for posting your problem with skips in the downloads. I have the same problem. Hopefully the remedy provided will cure the problem. Feel free to e-mail me if you've corrected the problem with your downloads.
