 speed problems windows xp pro version 2002 sp2. amd athlon (tm) processor 1.39 ghz 256mb of ram. Have limewire pro 4.2.6 and java 2. i have 576 kbps broadband i have been downloading a film for nearly a week 1 day i had 51% of the film 2 days later i have 53% of the film and today i have 10% of the film and after a couple of minutes it just freezes most music i download wont play i have never had more than 4 kbps. can anyone send me a full list of tweaks that will improve my download speed. what i need is a full list of configurations as i may of set it up wrong. i need help as i am on the verge of smashing my computer. thanks. ANYONE PLEASE HELP!  |
