Miriad problems

I was surfing around on Linewire and came across a link that asked me if I wanted to share one of "Shared Files" [I had about 500+ songs in that file] and I punched "no" and damed if it didn't erase or put the file in a place that I cannot go to. Question: How do I get that file back?
Is it gone for good?
Also I am loading up the "completed" portion at the bottom of the window. When I first signed on there used to be a lmessage that asked if I wanted to send the completed files to the shared file; now it isn't even there. How in hell can I get the songs from the completed link to the shared file link?
Also, why is there a "hiccup" in every song that I have downloaded so far. When played back, it goes silent for a second or less, just enough to **** you off and ruin the song. I know this is a lot of data that I am asking for but I can't figure it out.
thanks to anyone that can help.

first check and see where ur download directory is, go to that folder through My Computer or where ever u have to go. If its not there search for it, i mean go to start, search, and type in the name of the folder or one of the songs. As for ur problem with the "hiccups", this happens to a lot of video and audio files that are playing on "repeat", which means when the songs over, it starts all over, that may be the problem, try turning repeat off. Go to Play, and unceck Repeat, the hotkey to turn it on and off is Ctrl+T. If repeat is not on, then i dont know...
