Unable to download or very slow downloading

I had the free version and I upgraded 3 days ago to Pro v 2.4.6
I was unable to download at all.
Today I upgraded to 2.3.3 Despite I have a DSL line I can only (download sometimes only) at 1Kb/sec speed and only one or two files.

Before InstallationI had also deleted the folder Limewire in Documents and Settings\user of win XP
Please help.
