Well let's calm down 1st. Let's not panic.

If the file was not in your incomplete folder then it finished & probably in your LW download folder. Remember, your incomplete folder is where the files that haven't finished are stored. When they have finished downlding LW will then move them to the LW Downld folder. Most often the default name for the LW Downld folder is 'Shared'.

Sometimes you just need to be patient. And sometimes you need to work hard at getting a particular result with LW. I know very well what it's like being a dial up user! I was a dial up user up until about 4 months ago.

If the file stops downlding, do another search to find fresh sources. If a file stops downlding during a session, sometimes a simple press of the Resume button can persuade it to continue. But sometimes not. I would suggest resume if it's previously been downlding during the same session. Not to begin an incomplete downld after you open LW. Searches are much more efficient generally.

If you have people uplding from you it also makes it easier to get downlds to continue. Also to get better search results.

Don't put a time span on trying to downld a particular file. Some days, times of day, or weeks are better than others for downlding from some sources. It may depend on when they are online, how busy they are uploading to others, etc.

My own two cents (I bet you won't like them):
Please please PLEASE try and be a little more concise. You don't need to write up to the very limit of characters a message can hold to get your message through. Just make sure you include all relevant information.
And please, please PLEASE use a little more punctuation. Thank you :)

Oh yeah, I forgot to ask. Do you upload anything while you download (or at least try to download)?
