New to this!

We are new at this. Can some one tell us the difference in types of files you down load. We want to download to a cd. We would appreciate any and all help.

For audio: mp3 & m4a

For video: recommended are avi, mpeg/mpg

For programs: rar & zip for Windows or for Mac: dmg & sit
