LW 4.4 works well with java 1.3.1. And not all operating systems have java 1.5.

I think it's JVM bug, I see same behaviour in some other apps and now I trying to isolate testcase and will send it to JVM vendor. Looks like LimeWire before 4.3 not stimulate this jvm problem.

I also have IBM JVM 1.3.1 and LimeWire 4.4.4 not hangs with it.

I just was very wondered when found this post, someone with Windows have same problem! So I assume nla1228 have java 1.4.1 as it may share codebase with OS/2 version.

freezes while downloadin

I did the disk clean up and nothing. It still freezes today I couldn't even get to search before it froze. I have the Java that downlads with the lmewire.

Hmmm just out of curiosity after you did the disk defragmentation,
How much free space did you have.

Also LotR asked for your Java version.
