Newbie! Download but no sound! Hello, A newbie here and I hope somebody with more knowledge can help. I have tried and suceeded to download a film "******" however when I go to play it on my "Widows Media Player 10" I always get the message "error downloading the codec" Therefore I can see the film but I cannot hear it! If anybody could offer advice I would be most grateful! Windows XP Pro + Office 2003 + 1Gb memory and 200 Gb H/D Mike Tagg Spain :confused: |
oy vay, first off, never, ever, post what you are downloading in these forums ever again. for security purposes. second of all, what format is the video in? your probably gonna have to download Divx. |
Hello Robooz, Firstly, I sincerely apologise for my gaffe! It wil NOT happen again! Secondly, in answer to your question the "File" is in "avi" format. Does that make a difference? Mike |
hahha yes, i knew the answer to this all along. search on google "divx" and download that program. that program plays all avi files. thanks. |
