Can someone help when i download an mp3 then go to my music file to put it on my cd player it tells me it is a m3u and will not work.....

An m3u file is simply a playlist. It contains no music but is a reference list to where the songs are. So if you move the original music the playlist won't work. What type of cd player are you talking about? Some computer audio players recognise & use playlists but not all. Your music is in your Shared folder. Search the comp for shared.
