Stopping a (movie) download, plz help.

ok 1st of all I gotta say limewire rocksz and is by far the best peer-to-peer program.

Anyway, here's my problem: I am downloading a movie, and I have downloaded 60 % of it. Now, I want to take the part of the movie I have downloaded and save it to a file in order to be able to watch this 60% of the movie as a whole.

Is this possible?

Why not. All you have to do is preview it & it makes a copy of it anyway at whatever % it's downlded. In any case you could just take what's there. Some apps are a little touchy about incomplete files but some are not. So go for it. Burn what you got or whatever you want to do with it. Go to your LW Library window & select the incomplete folder & press the Explore button & the folder will open up for you.

LoL, so incomplete files are saved as video files (in my case mpeg).
In kazza incomplete files were save as *.dat
--strange--

Oh really ... yuk! The only reason I could think of it saving them as dat would be for a vcd perhaps.
