Unhappy My music is all "choppy"?

i'm new to limewire so i don't know if this is common problem or not.

every song i download is "choppy" like it is being streamed onto my computer. none come out like real MP3s at all and i have no idea how to fix this.

is it the connection? or the fact i'm on a modem? or something else all together?

any help at all here would be greatly appreciated.

Use your systems default player. LimeWire's player is very very basic.

In LimeWire tools>options>player -- uncheck the box --- click apply then okay.

You will need to close and restart LimeWire for the changes to take effect.

Your Systems default player will then launch to play mp3 files from LimeWire.

already tried it but still am having the same problem.

it doesn't matter what play i play them on, so i can only guess that the files are not downloading clean or something strange like that?

well, turns out that it's not just downloads off of this network, but all of my MP3s that now play "choppy". i don't know if it something i downloaded (i only downloaded 2 songs before this started happening and both were corrupt) or the program itself that is causing this.

has this ever occured before?
