 Max download speed is only 20KB/s for limewire ????? hello there i am using limewire pro 4.8.1 and the max speed i reach for downloads is around 20BK/s not more !!! ??? cant limewire go over 20 what is the max download rate for limewire. my connection is ADSL 256KB/s (download) and 64KB/s upload  |

| You have to remember your d/l speed is affected by the u/l speed of the host. If the host can only u/l at 3 KB/s then that is what your d/l speed will be. Don't forget there are still many dialup host. Not all places have broadband. Just a side note: The more hosts availble for a file the better chance of a succesful and faster d/l |
